Christmas isn't far off now, and we're getting ready to deck the halls with bowls of tapas. However, we're also producing a special festive menu.
Available from 28th November through to 23rd December, we have a five course Christmas meal. In typical rootcandi fashion, everything is plant-based and the majority of it is gluten-free too.

We start the night with award-winning breads, served with accompaniments of pâtés, salads, and aubergine caviar. Our starters include ravioli of globe artichoke served with black truffle in a light tomato and basil brother, grilled king oyster mushroom and avocado carpaccio drizzled with a charred jalapeño and thyme oil, as well as salads and soups.
Our mains include mushroom wellington using local field mushrooms that are stuffed with hazelnut, spinach, girolles, wholegrain mustard, shallots, thyme and a smoked cheese sauce, or perhaps you'll opt for winter-spiced tofu cutlets that are served with aubergine and vanilla purée and a broccoli grits.
As for desserts, how does parsnip doughnuts sound? Carrot panna cotta? Chocolate and mint tart?
You also receive a Christmas Tree of accompaniments including chestnut pâté, mulled red cabbage with clementines, and fondant potatoes.
